First, a few words from Michelle...

Kho Magic Arabians came to be in 1982 with the purchase of Kho-Heimann, then a four-year-old grey gelding of Gainey/Polish breeding. Kho-Heimann, or "Cocoa Puff" as he was known, was trained by Michelle and shown to wins in Native Costume, English Pleasure, Hunter Pleasure, Halter and even Open Hunter over fences against all breeds! Kho-Heimann was sold in 1990 and, much to our great sadness, passed away in 2001. My lovely husband Brian came on the scene in 1986 and has been a huge support of this passion of mine ever since.

In 1993 with a temporary move to Southern California we were introduced to Brad and Irene Aborn at Flying A Ranch where we fell in love with Sweeter N Honey, a beautiful black bay daughter of Syrtaki (Baske-Tu x Mi Raquel). One thing lead to another and with breeding "Honey" to Hearrts On Fire+// along came Callmesweethearrt. Our original purchase of "Honey" also led us into a friendship with the Aborns who we purchased Syrenity and Beaus Nberry Bey from. Breeding "Berry" to "Sweethearrt" we got Berrycuda who is now our breeding stallion.

Next, a few words from Brian...

Before I met Michelle, I had been on a horse twice. During the time that we first started dating, Michelle took me to see her horse Cocoa Puff. Somehow I got talked in to riding him. He took off with me still on him and ran toward a cinder brick wall. I managed to roll off the horse just in time to avoid the wall. That little incident was not a deal-breaker - I still dated Michelle and eventually we were married.

I am the "Horse Dad" of the family. I am the guy who takes care of all the behind-the-scenes stuff such as this web site, the horse budget (and yes, I can hear all of you laughing at me for using the words 'horse' and 'budget' in the same sentence), and so forth. I've been a groom, stall picker, horse show announcer, first aid giver, and cheerleader. I hope to be involved with the horses until I go to the Great Pasture in the Sky.
